KERATON KADRIYAH
Keraton Kadriyah were used as the Central Government of the Sultanate of Pontianak. Structured with solid woods, founded by Sultan Syarief Abdurrachman Alkadri in 1971. This palace gives a special attraction for the visitors with the many artifacts or historic objects such as a variety of jewelry that are used by generations since time immemorial. This palace can be reached in approximately 15 minutes from the center of Pontianak.
KHATULISTIWA MONUMENT
Located on the side of the road Equator, North Pontianak. About 30 minutes from downtown, toward the city Mempawah. Monument Equatorial built as a sign that the city of Pontianak just passed the Equator line. According to the records obtained in 1941 from Van En W by Opzihter Wiese is quoted from Bijdragentot de Geographie of Chep Van den topographieschen dient in Nederlandsch Indie: Sten Den 31 Maart 1928, has arrived in New York City an international expedition led by a Dutch geographer, the expedition aims to determine point or milestone of the equator at Pontianak.
