Malang, East Java, May 23rd 2011. Aston International and PT. Graha Mapan Lestari celebrated the ground breaking for what is set to become Malang’s first international two star hotel development and the second favehotel in East Java, the favehotel Dieng - Malang. The event was held on May 21st, 2011 and attended by the Mayor of Malang, Mr. Peni Suparto as well as the local government.
The fave Dieng will become the premier and largest mix used development complex in this region offering 161 guest rooms and coffee shop, complete with hotel and apartment, the largest ball room in Malang as well as a city walk with numerous retail shops.
Malang is the second largest city in East Java with ancient history back to Mataram Kingdom, and a popular destination for European residents during the Dutch colonial era. With its cool air and many historical landmarks, this Paris of East Java developed as a tourist destination, local and international, to explore this clean city and reminiscing the old days.
