CHARLES BROOKFIELD
Chairman
Charles has over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry with the Aston Group. He has opened resorts in Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Palm Springs, Park City, San Francisco, Hawaii, Guam, Jakarta, and Bali.

Charley was instrumental in building the largest hotel chain in Hawaii and has been a pioneer in the industry, bringing the condotel concept to Indonesia.

Charley created Aston International in 1997 and has been living in Southeast Asia ever since.
 
 
JOHN M. FLOOD
President and CEO
Coming from Ireland, John has worked for several years across Europe in many luxury hotels. He has been working in Indonesia for over 11 years, with 3 of those years as a General Manager in Bali. He received his MBA from the University of Leicester in England.
 
JULES BROOKFIELD
Vice President of Technology & Integration
Graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Jules specializes in software development and internet related business. He is currently working to automate, integrate and standardize many aspects of our business to ensure that Aston International stays at the forefront of this digital age.
HERU PURWONO
Vice President of Finance
Heru brings with him over 20 years of experience in hospitality industry in different parts of Indonesia. He was the financial controller with international brands such as Hilton, Intercontinental and Accor group prior to joining Aston. Heru oversees the finance divisions of all Aston properties
 
TENAIYA BROOKFIELD
Director of ECommerce

After receiving her Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington in 2006, Tenaiya joins us as the newest member to our executive committee, bringing fresh ideas and innovative online solutionsto help owners and investors receive a faster return on their investment. 

She handles our online sales, advertising and marketing, brand website development, and central reservation systems.  She specializes in increasing hotel's ARR, reducing advertising and commission costs and increasing each hotel's image online.  

Although she travels across South East Asia to provide support, she is based mostly in Bali and manages their Regional office there as well.

LUKAS K. SAMALI
Vice President of Human Resources Development

Lukas has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resource Development from various international hotel chains as well as operating a franchised international head hunting business. 

He is responsible for moving the Company's Human Resources Division forward to meet the requirements of the group and helping it to become more adaptable, resilient, quick to change direction, and customer-centered – all absolutely essential to achieving the organization-wide business plan and objectives as well as the ultimate goal of becoming the preferred hospitality management company in Indonesia.

 
 RUBEN B. KULLE
Business Development Director
Graduated from Hotel & Tourism Academy and The Education Institute of AHMA Jakarta, Ruben started his hospitality career in 1993 with various hotels in Indonesia. 10 years later, he entered the business development arena with Choice Hotels Indonesia.  He is working to expand the group's portfolio which today sits as close to 50 properties and another 60 under construction. Ruben's role is instrumental for a cornerstone of the group's ambition of having over 100 properties in the next 3 to 4 years.
NORBERT VAS
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Norbert has more than 17 years of hotel industry experience in Indonesia, the USA, Germany, Belgium, Spain and Austria. His most recent positions have been: Director of Operations at The Intercontinental Bali Resort (Bali), General Manager at Swiss-Belhotel Golden Sand Resort (Vietnam), and Director of Sales & Marketing Mandarin Oriental (Jakarta, Indonesia).
